Fig 1: Growth factors produced by macromastia stromal cells improved the proliferation of epithelial cells. Immunoblot of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), epidermal growth factor (EGF) and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) in conditioned medium (CM) from macromastic (CM-M) and non-macromastic (CM-NM) stromal cells. Densitometry was conducted to determine the relative expression, and then normalized to ß-actin expression in stromal cells from each well. Quantification of densitometry was shown.
